Course Details

Flat:
Left-handed, U-shaped course of 1m4f with steep undulations. 3 1/2f run-in with pronounced camber, initially downhill, rising in final furlong. Races up to 8 1/2f essentially sharp, particularly on 5f track, which is the fastest in the world.

Getting There

Epsom Downs is two miles south of Epsom on the B290 Tadworth Road. If travelling on the M25 take either junction 8 or 9 where AA signposts direct you to the course. You will find coloured signage near to the course directing you to the appropriate car park - we recommend you book car-parking in advance for the Vodafone Derby Meeting.

By Train:(For great fares click here)
From London Waterloo or London Victoria take a train to Epsom where buses and taxis will take you to the course. Alternatively Tattenham Corner Station is a 1/2 mile walk from the course.

Please note the going selected for the rating services is that given by the racing post. The colour coding is Orange (top rated), Lime (second rated) and Cyan (third rated).I have data for 2005 and 2006 for Brimardon. The Towerform statistics start from 1st January 2006. Adrian Massey statistics start from 1st April 2006. Flatstats data from 1st September. I will be adding more systems in due course.
